Seek trust, integrity, and results.
Art Aguilar was born and raised in south Texas. He worked his way up from extremely humble beginnings, working his way through high school in minimum wage jobs, and having to deal with all the legal barriers that the common person experiences.
After serving honorably in the U.S. Army Art learned the value of basic hard work. He believes that hard work beats talent every single time. Because of his commitment, determination, and integrity, Art now represents publicly traded multi-billion-dollar entities.
Most importantly, Art is an aggressive young trial lawyer. He is devoted to trial law, and if necessary--appeals. Art has tried several cases to verdict in some of the toughest counties, including Harris, Dallas, Beaumont, Liberty, Wise, San Jacinto and Collin. Because of his actual jury trial experience, including having picked several juries himself, Art can validly analyze a case, giving clients real expectations.
Further, Art has successfully prosecuted appeals and mandamus petitions in his clients' favor.
Art has been specifically sought out by major multi-billion-dollar companies, commercial line adjusters of major insurance companies, and small businesses.
Art’s experience includes commercial litigation, construction litigation, insurance coverage litigation, assisting in appellate proceedings, and his favorite (bread and butter practice) personal injury. He has experience representing insurance carriers in catastrophic personal injury, and wrongful death cases.
Art has specific experience in handling high stakes personal injury litigation, where demands exceed 20 million, and the loss of life has occurred by catastrophic collisions, drownings, amputations, industrial accidents, explosions, premises liability, and intentional assault.
Further, Art routinely handles construction defect disputes, and contractual performance disputes in both the residential and commercial context. Since starting his own law firm in June of 2022, Art has recovered over $1,000,000 in settlements and judgments for his clients.
Art also handles construction fraud issues which include claims as small as $20,000 all the way up to several millions.
Art has been engaged by several small businesses and construction companies to act within a General Counsel capacity, to fully inform the clients on routine and complicated business matters.
Art's public service does not go unseen: Art has held many positions within the federal and local branches of government, some of which include, externing for a federal judge, interning for a federal agency in Washington D.C., sitting on a local government committee, and serving as a high school teacher.
